Jalen Barr

Bio

Coach Barr is in his second year coaching and first year at South Florence. Coach Barr played multiple sports at Lake City High School before beginning his college playing career at The Citadel. Coach Barr started as a true freshman at The Citadel before transferring to South Carolina State as a four-year starter at defensive back. Coach Barr was a member of South Carolina State's team that won the 2021 HBCU National Championship. Coach Barr received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from South Carolina State. He has previous coaching experience at Lake City High School where he served as the DB's coach.
