Shawn Armstrong

Bio

Coach Armstrong is entering his 5th year as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the South Florence Bruins (12th year overall). Along with running the weight room, he is also the Running Backs Coach for the football team. Coach Armstrong is a graduate of Sumter High School and went on to play college football at Presbyterian College from 2009-2013. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from PC and is currently on track to earn his Master's Degree in December, 2024. Prior to South Florence, Coach Armstrong had coaching stints at AC Flora, Camden, Airport, and Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). He has been married to his wife, Morgan, for 9 years, and they have two children: Mary Harper (6) and Wells (4).
